So, I'm now basically unemployed like most americans today...and I've found a new form of creativity that I didn't know I had...PAINTING. These are the 3 wise Monkey series I did last week for our living room wall.

On A Happy Note

I have happily moved in with the boyfriend in our own studio apartment. Yea! It feels good, and I have been cooking since we've been here. I cooked like three times already and am out to find some good, fun cookbooks.

Relationship step 3, I guess. I so don't kno what to expect next...hoping we don't kill eachother living in one room. The true test...

Poems and Songs

So, I was looking through my writing book the other day and came across some lyrics I jotted down at various times throughout my past writing years. What? That was such a run on sentance. Here goes one:

Crock-Pots!!! Amazing!

Okay, so I don't really cook at all. My mom made some beef something in the slow cooker tonight, and I am getting one of these things. You prep it in the morning and then let it cook all day, come back and you got dinner ready??? AND, it can't dry out or burn, unless you are completely inept. I cannot believe everyone does not have and use one of these. I'm going to Target tomorrow.

My boyfriend will be so happy when we move in and I start cooking stuff. LOL

Another Year Gone!

Happy New Year All! It's tough to keep up with my blog, facebook and real life. Now that I've been in a relationship with an awesome guy for the last 5 months, I can't even find time to sit down and write a new song.

That will soon change, as I will be moving in with my GG(great guy) and will not be running around with my bags packed every weekend. My sister says I'm a gypsy...I guess she is right to some extent. I have been moving almost every year for the past 9 years. And now it will happen again twice in the next year. We plan to find a place here for the next 6 months, then make the move back to CA. FINALLY. I can't wait to drive out there. I haven't gotten a chance to make the drive across the country before now.

Everything is just going so well, I'm afraid I will mess something up soon. I have a great job, a great guy and am healthy and debt free. Yawhoooooo! I guess when you've had an awful year (2007), the next year is bound to be a million times better and it totally was. 2008 was great! LOL, 2009 will be sublime! Shall I write a song now? LOL
